I was riding around Hung Yen on the motorbike with my wife Jacqueline.  We like to ride into the countryside and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. I painted this village because it looks like it has stood the test of time.  Like time travel, just 5 minutes ride into the villiage, the scenery goes back a 100 years. However, I wonder if this village will be able to preserve its ancient charm. Thus putting it down on canvas is one way to preserve a part of Hung Yen’s history.
