In "Rethink", I tried to bridge the worlds of counselling and art, transforming the impressionist landscape into a metaphor for the healing journey. Inspired by Monet’s Giverny, I uses layered, textured brushwork to represent the complexities of the human experience. The draped willow branches act as translucent veils—symbolising the protective layers we carry—while the shimmering water lilies beneath represent the clarity and hope that emerge from life’s chaos. I hope, through this piece, I can invite you into a silent dialogue, to think, and to rethink your thinking. As it is often, in rethinking out thinking, that we find within our deepest brokenness lies an enduring, luminous beauty waiting to be discovered.
